| Physical Description | She is Meruian (a species i created for my ST book) she is of a petite build, but strong. Her eyes are black with pink irises, her hair is red- tendrils like (like a Beta fish). Her body is covered in soft, smooth glistening, almost irridescent, blue scales. She has no nose, but small gills behind her ears. Her toes are webbed, as are her fingers slightly webbed. |

| General Overview | M'leyna is a kind, soft-spoken woman. She keeps to herself most of the time not used to being around so many alien species. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | She draws strength from her family and heritage. She is proud of her culture and all theyd achieved. At the helm, she is always at one, and at peace eith the craft she pilots. Shed always been drawn to the stars, their wojder, their mysteries, help, for her, was a natural choice in career for her to reach out and explore. As far as weaknesses, she is not physically strong, even by human standards, often referred to as a "book worm" more than a "gym rat". Because her species doesn't interact much with other species, she's often very shy or timid on away missions, however she never balks when ordered to go on one. |

| Ambitions | M'leyna was the first of her species to enlist in Starfleet, she takes great pride in that. Her people had mixed reservations about the notion, however the news was world-wide headlines on her planet of Meru IV regardless. She strives to be the best pilot she can be, achieving several certifications and accommodations for her skill and constant learning of different crafts. |

| Hobbies & Interests | She mostly keeps to herself. When off duty, M'leyna is more likely found in her quarters with a glass of tidalberry tea and a book. She loves reading books on history of different cultures, however shed just recently gotten introduced and grown fond of fantasy stories from earth, particularly their mermaid legends that she found charming. |
| Personal History | M'leyna was born on Meru IV, a planet of 98% water. Her species mostly dwells in underwater cities or on the cliffs of what land there is on her world.her species also has a rough palate, as their diet is almost entirely seafood based, they eat their food with the skelld intact- including clam shells, gaining important nutrients from the shells as well as the meat. As she grew up, M'leyna always had a fondness for space, an explorer at heart. Her brothers and sister always though it odd, but never put her down for her curiosity of space and other species. Her mother and father always did encourage her, even when others scolded them for it, feeling it best to "keep their nose to the current, and nog fight against it." All her life, she avoided the nay-sayers and worked tirelessly to one day enroll in Starfleet Academy. |

| Service Record | M'leyna received top marks in Starfleet academy for piloting/helm control, as well as tactical, however in hand-to-hand combat, she barely skidded by due to her weak musculature. Luckily, sec/tac wasn't the field she striped so hard for. After her cadet cruise, she toured as an Ensign on board the USS Horizon until shed reached the rank of Lieutenant (junior grade), and was transferred to the USS Hyperion, an Akira class vessel, she served on the Hyperion before and throughout the Dominion war. In battle, her superior officer, Chief Helmsman Lirutenant Commander Layla DeSoto was killed, it wasn't long after that M'leyna was granted the rank of full Lieutenant, and took the mantle of Cheif Helmsman. During her tenure on the Hyperion, she talked her CO- Captain Cartwright, about utilizing a couple of Starfleet fighter craft, specifically the Valkerie Class fighters to use as armed escort for long range shuttle missions. In doing so, M'Leyna became fighter-class certified and is now able to perform double duties at either capacity when needed. |
