Assignment: Arawyn
Post Count: 43Assignment: Arawyn
Following her commissioning into Epsilon Fleet service, the USS Arawyn — a newly refit Sovereign-class starship — prepares for departure from Starbase 369.
With crew arriving from across the Federation and beyond, the first order of business is getting acquainted, settling into quarters, and learning the rhythms of life aboard one of Starfleet’s most advanced vessels. Departments conduct final readiness checks, calibrations, and shakedown procedures while the senior staff establishes their working dynamic.
This is a chance for new shipmates to form connections, establish relationships, and explore the Arawyn’s corridors before the demands of deep space take hold. From first introductions to unexpected encounters, every interaction lays the groundwork for the voyages ahead.
Fractured Accord
Post Count: 115Fractured Accord marked the USS Arawyn’s first operational deployment under Epsilon Fleet command, tasking the ship with escorting a science and terraforming convoy into the contested Tavrik system. What began as a routine protection assignment quickly escalated when sabotage crippled one of the convoy vessels, revealing covert interference by the Vethari Combine and exposing the fragile balance of power along the frontier.
Upon arrival at Tavrik III, tensions intensified as Kaldari Union forces asserted territorial claims, triggering a catastrophic terraforming failure that resulted in severe environmental instability and multiple Starfleet casualties. While rescue and containment efforts unfolded on the surface, the Arawyn engaged in high-stakes diplomacy in orbit, successfully negotiating a cease-fire and preventing open conflict.
Though the immediate crisis was contained and the convoy secured, Fractured Accord exposed Tavrik as a long-term flashpoint. The mission’s outcome prompted heightened fleet oversight and ongoing diplomatic engagement in the region, with the consequences of these events continuing to shape Epsilon Fleet operations beyond the mission’s conclusion.

Echoes of Blood
Post Count: 14What begins as a routine post-incident debrief becomes something far more personal for the USS Arawyn’s Chief of Security. When subtle irregularities emerge in Ignis, the adaptive AI bound to Lieutenant Aev Flammia’s holoband, questions of trust, identity, and control ripple outward through Starfleet channels and into Aev’s own past.
As reports surface that other Lumeon Project participants have died and their holobands have vanished, the technology behind Ignis becomes a target rather than a tool. With Starfleet’s attention divided across larger political and exploratory fronts, Aev is granted leave to pursue a lead that points to a long-abandoned world on the fringes of Federation awareness.
What waits there is not just an answer, but a reckoning.
Echoes of Blood is a character-driven mission focused on the blurred boundary between machine and person, the cost of secrecy, and the dangerous gravity of unfinished histories. It challenges its players to navigate moral uncertainty, cultural tension, and the consequences of being seen as more than just who you are—but what you carry.
